Due of construction work on site, the Organisors released today the following news:
" We regret to inform the athletes, that the nation trainings will not start as planned on tuesday, yet only on wednesday. There are certain reasons that we made us decide this way: - The construction of the grandstage doesnt mean an immediate risk potential. For the orgnisers the safety does have to be granted. After meetings with the responsible company it was decided, that while the fundamental work of the constructers, there is no boat aloud on the water. The wave will not be set up at this moment.
- At the moment we plan on adjusting the wave on tuesday 25th August in the afternoon! After this is done, the wave is open to train on it.
- Offical training slots start on Wednesday 08:00am

In the coming days we will upload the trainig slot schedule as well as a detailed program about the competitioplaning/ heats! We are sorry for the delay, and hope of the athletes understanding. As on the water, where "safety first" is a major concern, also the organisers of this unique event are not ready to risk any accident happening! P.S: There are within one hour/90min. different waves to paddle as well as creeks! See you in thun! |

 A few days ago, the organisers of the Boater Cross Masters in Interlaken cancelled the event! We regret this step, yet understand and respect the decision!
On this very weekend (29.-30th August), we will continue nation trainings on saturday. On sunday, the wave is open for anyone! Everyone, doesnt matter if KAyaker, Surfer or Boogieboarder is welcomed on the wave. We look forward to welcome many wave enthusiasts in Thun on this weekend! |

19 days to go! The numerical inscription of the national federations is over, and apart of some teams all that are still working on it, all teams have their athletes chosen. The current list of the different teams you find HERE! We wish all athletes a safe trip to Switzerland and look forward to spectacular and fierce competitions on the river Aare! |

Die Weltmeisterschaften finden in weniger als in einem Monat statt. Für die Durchführung einer solchen Veranstaltung braucht es verschiedene Helfer, welche uns tatkräftig zur Hand gehen wollen! Es winkt weder eine üppige Bezahlung, noch Ehre und Ruhm. Das Erlebnis an einer solchen WM jedoch mitgewirkt zu haben, wird dich ein Leben lang begleiten.
