We, the Organization Committee, the city of Thun as well as the whole Swiss Kayaking Community, are very proud to present the Freestyle Kayaking World Championships 2009. We want to present this young discipline like it has never been seen before. In order to do so we will transform the Schwerzligschleuse into a unique wild water arena. The judges will use the latest technology to guarantee the correctness of the competition results.

Athletes from all over the world will be participating in this unique event in Thun. Besides the obvious kayaking competitions, you will be able to experience a whole lot more fun and action from all kinds of shows and activities.
